Study of diaphragm pump with linear motor
Čejka, Pavel ; Uttendorfský, Petr (referee) ; Pochylý, František (advisor)
The diploma thesis is aimed at the constructional design of diaphragm pumps with a linear motor. This pump is supposed to be used in medicine for pumping the blood or as an artificial heart. The basic facts, which are focused on the function of the heart and artificial heart, are mentioned in the first parts of the thesis. The next parts describe the diaphragm pumps and the constructional ways of their diaphragm fixation. Furthermore, the basic calculations, describing the function of the pump, are derived there. The basic parameters of the pump are also calculated. The thesis also contains the description of the body pump construction, whose working room is optimized by CFD calculation before the pump is manufactured. The final part of the thesis is concentrated on the measurement evaluation of produced pump model.

The next part describes the design of the measuring chamber, electronics and control for fully automatic measurement of air quantities.
Study of diaphragm pump with linear motor
Dubový, Ľuboš ; Habán, Vladimír (referee) ; Pochylý, František (advisor)
The content of this master‘s thesis is a study of diaphragm pump with linear drive. Linear motor was used as the linear drive. Thesis is well – founded by theoretic calculation of pump and its design draft. Likewise, the thesis includes optimalization of suction, or pressure, valve for pump, created by using computer fluid dynamics software. Thesis is complemented by basic view of different types of pumps based on the classification by hydrodynamic and hydrostatic pumps. Subsequently, the preview of blood – flow pumps is presented.
Electrolyzer for hydrogen production
Kunovjánek, Miroslav ; Knotek, Tomáš (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
The work is concerned with a production of hydrogen and oxygen through by the help of electrolytic process in a device called electrolyzer. The basis of the work is assurance of the best efficiency of this process by testing a variety of materials and surfaces of electrodes, and testing different types of alkalic electrolytes.

Hebnar, Tomáš ; Kloss, Ondřej (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work is focused on clutches, which are an integral part of car drive train, it describes the distribution of clutches and gives examples of modern design.
Selected physiotherapeutic approaches in patients suffering from postcovid syndrome with special focus on the diaphragm
Waldhauserová, Nicole ; Zahrádka Köhlerová, Michaela (advisor) ; Havlová, Martina (referee)
This bachelor's thesis aims to describe the effect of a combination of selected physiotherapeutic methods on the condition of patients with post-covid syndrome. It is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part are discussed in more detail the topics of Covid-19, the post-covid syndrome, the diaphragm, its anatomy, functions, its influence on the organism and functional limitations and also is discussed the topic of the fascial system. Diaphragm therapy methods are also described, especially the methods practiced in this work - visceral manipulation, osteopathic fascial release techniques and Vojta's reflex locomotion. In the practical part is more discussed the methodology of this work including data collection, methods, patient selection criteria, the goal of the work, and case studies of 3 patients with breathing problems classifiable as post-covid syndrome. In order to evaluate the effect of the therapy, the initial and final examinations, respiratory amplitude values, 2 quality of life questionnaires and selected functional tests focusing on the state of the deep stabilization system and the involvement of the diaphragm are evaluated. The results of some objective tests were questionable, but regardless it was shown that the chosen physiotherapeutic methods can...
Diaphragm pump
Veselý, Přemysl ; Dobšáková, Lenka (referee) ; Pochylý, František (advisor)
The central goal of this work is to optimize the performance of the diaphragm pump so that it is able to operate under the given conditions, which at this moment do not meet. In the first part of the thesis, a basic research was created about diaphragm pumps, their simple division, inclusion in positive displacement pumps and the history of their development. In the following chapter, their construction and the meaning of each part of the machine was described in detail. Furthermore, several basic CFD calculations were carried out with the aim of locating the places with the greatest hydraulic losses. These analytical calculations were subsequently compared with practical experiments, from which the intention was derived. In the next point, based on these facts, several final adjustments were made with the aim of optimizing the performance of the entire system. After that, these design measures were further investigated and evaluated.
The influence of postural stability changes on respiratory muscle strength in an adult with a functional disorder of the musculosceletal system
ŠIGUTOVÁ, Anežka
The bachelor thesis deals with the study of the effect of changes in postural stability on the strength of respiratory muscles in adults with a functional disorder of the musculoskeletal system. This work consists of two parts. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis is first devoted to breathing, its control, stereotype of breathing and respiratory muscles. A large part is also devoted to the diaphragm, which has not only respiratory but also postural function and its relationship to posture. Subsequently, it deals with the definition and ontogenesis of posture and its significance, postural stability, stabilization and reactivity. Furthermore, the deep stabilization system and its components are described. The last part deals with the issue of functional disorders and the most commonly used methods of therapy of functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system. The practical part of the work is a form of qualitative research and consists of three case studies. All subjects are women aged 21 to 23 years. I was the first to perform an initial examination, where I mainly examined the quality of postural stability and measured the strength of the respiratory muscles using a triflow spirometer. A total of six meetings were held with each patient. At the last, an exit examination was performed. Within the whole group, there was no significant change in the strength of the respiratory muscles when the postural stability changed, but there was a change in the examination of the respiratory stereotype and the diaphragmatic test. This bachelor thesis can serve as an inspiration for physiotherapeutic procedures in the treatment of functional disorders and the possibilities of influencing postural stability and respiratory muscles.
Specifics of physiotherapy in patients with bronchial asthma
KONEČNÁ, Tereza
The bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of physiotherapy in patients with asthma bronchiale. The aim of the theoretical part of the thesis is to describe the problem of bronchial asthma and to describe the possibilities of physiotherapy for patients suffering from asthma. The theoretical part of the thesis includes a comprehensive description of the disease, specifically definition, prevalence, etiopathogenesis, clinical symptoms, diagnosis, classification of the disease and treatment options. The anatomy of the respiratory system, respiratory muscles, a description of physiological breathing and its pathology in asthmatics is also included. A relatively large part of the theoretical part consists of physiotherapy options. Asthma bronchiale is a chronic inflammatory disease of the respiratory tract manifested by symptoms of bronchial obstruction such as dyspnoea, cough, wheezing phenomena when breathing and chest pressure. The disease can be accompanied by asthma attacks of varying frequency and severity, which can be life-threatening. The cause of these difficulties is the presence of chronic inflammation in the bronchi together with their hyperreactivity. The prevalence of asthma continues to rise worldwide, along with the increasing prevalence of allergic diseases, which may be influenced by the worsening air quality. Asthma bronchiale is an incurable disease that affects people of all ages. With timely diagnosis and the use of pharmacological treatment, the symptoms of the disease can be eliminated and thus the disease can be controlled. Diseases of the respiratory system also have a negative effect on the musculoskeletal system, so physiotherapy has its place in the comprehensive treatment of asthma. Physiotherapy treatment focuses mainly on restoring the correct breathing pattern, correcting body posture, eliminating muscle imbalances and improving physical fitness. The aim of the practical part of the thesis is to propose physiotherapy procedures suitable for patients with bronchial asthma and to evaluate their effect. The form of qualitative research has been chosen for the practical part. The research includes 3 case studies of adult patients with asthma. Input and output kinesiology examinations have been performed, based on which comparison the results have been described
